# Eidovara marketing claims policy

Use this checklist for websites, store listings, release notes, videos, screenshots, advertisements, interviews, and social posts. It reduces avoidable advertising, trademark, privacy, and consumer-protection risk but is not a legal clearance opinion.

## Claims supported by the current release

- “Alpha Windows workspace” or “customizable desktop assistant and media workspace.”
- Local application discovery and user-confirmed launching, without process injection.
- User-requested internet research and media handoff from documented sources.
- Local-first profiles with operating-system-backed protection when available.
- HTTPS and SHA-256 verified official updates, release checksums, SBOM, and GitHub build provenance.
- Optional Soul software assistant with configurable memory, personality presentation, voice, avatar, consent, and feature controls.

## Claims requiring qualification

- Say “designed to reduce Eidovara's own visual overhead,” not that gaming performance or frame rate will improve.
- Say “supports formats available through the bundled Chromium runtime,” not that every codec or media file will play.
- Say “can launch selected Windows applications,” not that it integrates with, controls, or is compatible with every application or game.
- Say “protects local data at rest when operating-system encryption is available,” not “unhackable,” “anonymous,” or “perfectly private.”
- Say “blocks documented high-risk request categories,” not that it guarantees legal compliance or detects every unlawful request.

## Claims prohibited until independently established

- “First digital human,” “conscious,” “sentient,” “perfect,” “unrestricted,” or scientifically proven consciousness.
- “Patented,” “patent pending,” “registered trademark,” “certified,” “government approved,” “lawyer approved,” or “legally compliant everywhere.”
- Guaranteed game performance, universal compatibility, complete computer access, infallible security, or guaranteed prevention of malware or illegal use.
- Partnership, sponsorship, certification, or endorsement by Apple, Microsoft, GitHub, Electron, Spotify, YouTube, OBS, Twitch, NVIDIA, payment providers, model providers, or any other third party without a signed agreement.
- Describing Eidovara as an iOS, iPhone, iPad, or Apple product, or stating that licensed SF Pro or SF Mono fonts are required.
- Using Jarvis, Iron Man, Marvel, Disney, Stark, FRIDAY, Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant, Copilot, Cortana, ChatGPT, Claude, Raycast, Alfred, Spotlight, Clippy, Replika, or Character.AI as an Eidovara product or feature name.
- Copying distinctive third-party slogans (including “Hey Siri”, “OK Google”, Clippy-style help, or Copilot key art) or shipping unlicensed third-party logos, fonts, screenshots, lyrics, books, news articles, or copied help articles.
- An active subscription, automatic entitlement, refund promise, or payment security certification before the commerce service and its complete consumer terms are deployed and tested.

## Publication gate

Before publishing a new claim, preserve the exact claim, supporting test or source, release version, reviewer, and date. Re-review marketing after feature, privacy, pricing, provider, licensing, or security changes. Remove outdated claims promptly. Use only approved brand assets and properly licensed screenshots, music, voices, avatars, footage, and testimonials.
