Windows 10/11 x64 — v2.1.4 Stable Alpha — 18+

Soul layer — optional assistant

Soul is an optional assistant layer with persistent simulated continuity. It is software — not a human, professional authority, or proof of consciousness. You can use the workspace entirely without it.

Configurable personality

Set tone, style, and response patterns for the Soul assistant layer. Customize how Soul communicates and interacts. Personality settings are persisted locally and adapt relationship-aware over time.

Persistent continuity

Memory, relationship-aware adaptation, and context persist across sessions. Soul remembers conversations, preferences, and patterns. All stored locally-first.

Voice and presence

Configure voice, presence, and initiative levels. Optional remote provider connection for enhanced capabilities. Windows voice output and dictation support included.

Research and media

Soul can assist with internet research (cited public sources only), media playback and discovery (properly sourced content), and tool usage — all within 18+ bounds.

Tool integration

Soul works with the workspace's linked applications, gaming tools, and media playback. Trusted launch controls and local-first storage keep everything on your PC.

Recovery and backups

Soul data is backed up with the workspace's encrypted backup system. Recovery tools help restore continuity if something goes wrong. Provider context is preserved.

18+ triple gate

Soul features require all three conditions: (1) age confirmation 18+, (2) explicit Soul enablement in settings, and (3) consent acknowledgment. This ensures only adults access Soul's full capabilities. The local confirmation is not independent age verification.

Ask Eidovara — website helper

The "Ask Eidovara" button on this site is a website helper over a fixed v2.1.4 knowledge pack. It answers questions about download, 18+, features, and legal pointers. It is not Soul, not conscious, and not legal advice. Conversations are not stored. You can optionally connect it to an HTTPS service base for online answers, but it works fully on-page by default.

Provider abstraction

Soul supports compatible remote-model endpoints with configurable provider context. The official default for desktop health/status is api.eidovara.org. The desktop app remains usable offline if that host is down. Conversations are never sent by the status heartbeat. You can use local models (like Ollama) or disable remote providers entirely.

Soul is software, not consciousness

The Soul layer is a configurable assistant framework. No consciousness claims are made or implied. It provides persistent memory, continuity, and adaptive personality — all within clearly defined source-available boundaries. Soul is not therapy, medical care, or a claim of consciousness. It is software with persistent simulated continuity.
