18+ Age Restriction

Eidovara v2.1.4 is restricted to users 18 years or older. By accessing or using this software, you confirm you are 18 or older. This gate is enforced across all touchpoints: desktop UI, CLI, kernel integration, and web presence. Age confirmation is required for download, Soul feature activation, and research features.

Local confirmation of age is not independent identity verification. Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with their local jurisdiction's age requirements for 18+ software.

Source-Available License

Eidovara v2.1.4 is published under LicenseRef-Eidovara-Source-Available-1.0. This is a source-available evaluation license, not an open-source license. You may view and study the source code, but the following are prohibited:

• Redistribution of modified or unmodified builds
• Open-source relicensing (MIT, Apache, GPL, BSD, CC, or similar)
• Commercial use without explicit written permission
• Removal of 18+ age gates or legal notices
• Reverse-engineering to bypass restrictions

Acceptable use

Permitted network features are user-directed lookups against public reference sources such as Wikipedia/Wikimedia and the Internet Archive, plus official search handoffs.

• Software must not be used to generate false consciousness claims or imply sentience
• Adult Mode and Soul features require triple-gate compliance (age + enablement + consent)
• Internet research is filtered and cites public sources only
• Media playback is limited to user-selected, properly sourced content
• Network usage follows the NETWORK_USAGE.md policy

Liability and Warranty

Eidovara is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. In no event shall the author or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the software or the use or other dealings in the software.

The Authenticode-unsigned installer may trigger Windows SmartScreen warnings. Users download at their own risk. GitHub/Sigstore provenance records build origin but does not provide Authenticode signing.

Community Conduct

Users must adhere to the 18+ community standards. Harassment, hate speech, or exploitation of the 18+ framework will result in access revocation. All conduct is subject to the source-available license terms.
